Where should I buy my laptop tommorrow? BestBuy or Circuit City?

The laptop and price are identical at bth places. I've had favorable experiences with both of them, but Ive bought a lot more stuff from Best Buy. then again, Ive never bought anything worth $1400 before at either store. Any recommendations? Why?

In my experience, it's a lot easier to buy and return things at Circuit City. That's where I've bought most of my electronics for the past year. On the flip side, however, Best Buy has a lot more cute friendly girls working there that always like to talk to you. So, I'd have to say BB, because of the chicks.
Well I bought my PC at Best Buy and have been very satisfied.
Best Buy has the option of buying extended Warranty on the product, which is a feature that I like. I purchased a Nano from Best Buy and the optional warranty and had to take it bake under the warranty and got a new Bigger one for the same price that I originally paid. This was a bonus, I didn't have to deal with Apple Repairs or send it off anywhere.
What brand? and where are u putup?
I suggest go for J&R in Downtown Manhattan. www.jr.com
Both circuit city and best buy have on a higher end. they are reliable but JR has a better deal most of the time...

If you are going for DELL then better to buy it directly from there website. Good luck.

Never buy a HP - they suck
if i where u i'll buy mines at circuit city reason my sister bought a laptop from best buy broke down the next day n she took it to them to fix it they wont do it . but that just my opion
Ask each store about their return policy and Warranties.

Ask about Manufactures Warranty? Get a three year one.

Don't get an in store warranty or if you do find out how it works. Get all the details first. Take a look at their repair shop.

What support do they give?

DO you have a Fry's Electronics close by?
Best Buy because the Geek Squad can assist you.
If you buy at any department store, you are also buying a lot of programs that you probably do not need. Why dont you have one built for you at a fraction of the cost and with only what you want on it> Use the extra money for more memory and hard drive. You will also have to subscribe to an internet if u buy at CC or BB
$1,400 for a laptop is idiotic.

For $449 at one of the stores gets you a great laptop featuring:
AMD Turion X2 dual core CPU
1gb of RAM
DVD Burner
80gb hard drive
15.4" screen
etc.

If you're not editing HiDef video, doing mid-high end gaming, or any other CPU/graphics intensive work, the laptop above is all you need. Don't waste your money.
You should buy a laptop from Best Buy.
