You must spend your money for the best brand.
As I know HP and Dell are the best in laptops for a long time and they are very reliable too. I trusted HP and I bought a HP laptop 2 years before, and still like the day I bought it. Didn't even have to service it at least once up to now.
I recommend you to buy a HP (with experience) or Dell laptop.

I think that you should take it up with HP because it is their warranty and because Best Buy seems to just be the middle man in the situation.
i would mainly say to sue HP b/c they are making you pay for them and were unable to fix it and give all another messed up laptop.
Perhaps you should contact the State Attorney Generals Office, Consumer Division for your state. They really take a dim view of people being jerked around, and you'll be surprised how fast people respond to the Attorney Generals office!!
First - read your warranties. Second - check online to see if there was a recall on your computer. Third - try to get a refund. I don't think you could SUE anyone. Afterall - what would your case be? You're suing them for buying a crappy product? If you find out your stuff is under warranty, present that to HP. That should take care of the money issue. Call HP customer support, and straight up ask to speak to a supervisor. State your case. If they say "Too bad", tell them you will report them to the Better Business Bureau. See what happens.
Or, you could try to get a free consultation from a lawyer, and see what they say. Use their advice. Usually, when you buy an item from a store like best buy, the warranty is built in (IDK for how long though).
You can sue if you want to but you will never get anywhere. I had same problem with a company that sold me my HP. After about three weeks of sending and resending, I told the store that I will picket the front of their store every Saturday until they replace my pc. They replace it within a week. I will NEVER but an HP. I have had 3 gateways and have not had any trouble with them. Dell and HP will not always alow a program to be loaded because of some of the codes. My gateways have never given me any problems.
You should buy a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092, and don't sue anyone.
