Microphone Works like 10 times better on pc than laptop ive checked the mic volume etc?

Laptops have discs drives much closer together which cause major interference.
You are better off buying an audio-input to USB connector. They don;t cost much and stop most of the interference.
Laptop weren't desighned really to take microphones the speakers arn't that great either. as you would have noticed. The only way to improve it on laptops and thats to buy a seperate pair of good speakers.
check the windows mic boost in sounds
then check the the software that came with your laptop sound system
my mic(inbuilt)was naff until i found the realtech software mic boost..you should have a look around in control panel
