Check my link they have full reviews on both. The Toshiba has huge HDs and may be better for mm.
Dell...my daughter has a Toshiba..it is OK, but they heat up so fast. The worst for this per the sales person, but one of the least $$$. The box on the plug in gets VERY hot.
GET THE TABLET LAPTOP. I HAVE HP TC 4400. YOU WONT BELIEVE HOW USEFUL IT IS. YOU CAN FOLD IT UP AND WRITE ON IT - IT IS SO CONVENIENT. YOU CAN PUT ITO N YOUR LAP AND WRITE.
I would suggest one of the pro notebooks from mac
Dell computer is probably the best
well theyre both very high-end computers, but if you look at the specs of both of them youll see that the hp has more proccessor speed, and you could customize the hp one.i say go with the hp.
I got a HP, Ive had it for 3 yrs, no problems. They are affordable and look very very stylish. I have a HP Paviliion dv6000. It came with XP, but I recently installed Windows Vista on it. Get the HP, you won't be dissappointed.
Today only, Dell has a $260.00 discount on their web site.

Both are junk if you ask me.

Toshiba's are commonly rated very poorly in customer satisfaction. I had one that was the biggest piece of junk. I was an IT at the time, I was constantly trying to fix it, and it was just awful.

HP doesn't make a single decent computer. Also, not even FBI agents have computers with a fingerprint "scanner" on them, not a decent one at least. I was told by someone in the security business that finger prints are never going to be that useful as a security measure because a little grease or dirt, and your finger print could look wrong, or someone elses could look right. plus it's only an extra $25, if a finger print reader was only 25$ don't you think we'd be using that instead of credit cards????

I say the best machine out there is a MacBook Pro. You can put windows on it if you like, works great, I have both windows and mac osx running on mine, and it's an awesome machine. I also happen to work in graphic design and multimedia/video production. so take my word that it is a great machine. Apple sells refurbished machines that are in excellent condition, have warranties, and are a bit cheaper than normal.

The only other machine I would suggest would be a Sony Vaio. Great machines. Last forever.
