It will not. Just works as a normal modem, or whatever they call them. Even went on the phone where some chap installed it all for me. Still nothing. The light on the laptop isn't even lit up to say its working, which apparently, its supposed to do. I'm not too bad with computers but this baffles me.

Install a Wireless router. Follow the steps in the below link to setup a wireless connection. Checkout whhether this works,

Do you have wi-fi installed in your home?
If not, that could be the problem
Have you switched the wireless on the laptop
