Windows Vista Premium Edition
1.80 ghz AMD Turion 64 X2 Processor
2 gb Shared Dual Channel DDR2 at 667 MHz of Memory/Ram
160 gb Hard Drive 5400 rpm
2.0 Megapixel webcam
6 cell Battery
And also, do I have a good processor. I know a lot of people think intel is better. but for and AMD processor. is it a good one?

having said that, the tl-56 you mention does not fare very well & the tl-60 far outdoes it

AMD and Intel are both fine companies and make good processors. In this case, the one your are getting is great.
Get the 9-cell battery if you can afford it.
Make sure you ge the student discount.
Stop asking the same question over and over again.
For what you plan on using it for, that should be more than adequate. Windows Vista Premium will run somoothly, thanks to the 2GB of RAM they system is configured with. The Hard-Drive is plenty for songs and saved files, although an external harddrive could be the way to go so you could save space on your laptop's disk. The Processor is OK, although I would recommend a Dual-Core by Intel, the Turion is 64-bit compatable, and should perform great for the things you are doing.
