There's a little black mark INSIDE the LCD screen on my laptop. Can I get rid of it?

Sound's like those who fixed it droped it and theirfore should fix it for free but guaranteed they will deny breaking it so you have to pay more. Get an experts advice first to see if it is broken or just something thats just got in their.

A dead pixel? Most manufacturers will not repair unless you have a certain number of dead pixels. Depends on the company. I have seen software you can get free online that claims to possibly repair the problem but haven't tried it so for all I know it could do more harm than good This site tells you about your warranty when you have dead pixels.http://www.behardware.com/articles/519-1...

You've probably dropped the laptop. The screen is damaged. If it is under warranty then just call tech support for your laptop.
Example: I have a IBM laptop, so I would go to IBM.com to get the tech support number...
Most of the laptops come with a 1 yr warranty, so that is good!
Probaly a dead pixel. Since this started when it came back from service you may be able to complain and they may replace the screen (if they won't it will probaly be about $698, at least for HP) There is usually a 90 rerepair warranty. But just give them a shout and ask them.
