Vista will be alright since you have 2GB of mem. Anything below 1.5 would drive you nuts.

if windows vista works on it then it's a good laptop...because vista needs high performance systems to work on!
Well, you got a crappy operating system, but everything else looks good. The problem is, when you're using Vista, it's as if you're using a cheaper computer.
Now's a fine time to ask!
The only thing that's bad about it is that it's a Dell.
Nice unit at a good price, but anti glare is a mistake if you intend to watch any movies. Intel is slightly preferable for heavy users.
