Why is the sound on the computer always so choppy?

Well actually everything is skipping. the videos, the mouse, and the sound, but i don't have any viruses.

Answers:
Crappy graphics card, slow processor, lots of programs running in the background, bad video quality, bad sound quality, bad sound card, out-of-date drivers, slow internet connection, bad connection between your speakers and your computer.

Quite a few reasons as to why your computer sound is choppy.
if it is everything in your computer, then it's probably time to get a new computer. you may just have too much downloaded on your computer and the hard drive and RAM can't handle it. you should try to do a system clean out first. get rid of everything you dont use. look for games you downloaded that you dont play anymore. those take up a lot of space on your computer. once you've done this and everything is still "choppy" ... look in to getting a new computer.
check and see how much of your memory you are using by right cick in taskbar then open task manager...you might have too many programs running you might wanna upgrade your memory
