The best cheapest lap top to get as of now?
I just need it for internet and saving typed up papers, at the most, right now. I don't know about latter. I'm not planning on using it on a job or anything.
What is the best cheapest one out on the market? Also, What do you think about Dell...with all the different colors you can get?

Dell stinks. Poor quality, exploding batteries, poor tech support. Don't go with frustration.
Go with Toshiba, HP, Compaq or Acer. Visit a Staples, Wal-mart or Costco or other store near you and look for a Back To School special.
Or just use the FREE computers at the public library
