If you have a hifi system/TV then plug it into that. Try looking for mike input or Aux In.
You will need a small cable to suit the connections you have.
Any decent Hifi/AV supplier will stock the cable (Try Richer Sounds)
Doing it this way it'll probably only cost about £3.00 and it'll be a lot more portable meaning you can go to your friends taking just the cable and plug it into whatever he has, instead of lumbering shitty little nano things about.
i use a pair of BOSE at home they are great and dont take up much space and a very good sound.Dearer but better are the BOSE with boom box.
