DVD Drive - 8 SPEED
Video Card - 64MB*
Sound Card - DirectX 9.0c compatible
DirectX - Version 9.0c
LAN - TCP/IP Compliant; 2 Players
Online Multiplayer - 512 Kbps or faster; 2 Players
Single System Multiplayer - 2-8 Players

*Supported chipsets: NVIDIA GeForce3 or greater (GeForce MX series not supported); ATI Radeon 7500 or greater; Intel 915, 945/950. Laptop versions of these chipsets may work but are not supported. DirectX 9.0c is included on this disc and may require the latest drivers for your video and sound card.
Most laptops use an onboard graphics processor that shares system memory to generate the video graphics. Replacing or adding a graphics card to a laptop is almost impossible in most cases. This game clearly states that while some laptop graphics adaptors might work, no laptop graphics display is supported officially.
go to the game setting >> grapics or video >> turn down some of the setings
Could it be the screen refresh rate needs increasing?
May not be possible as it may be at the highest rate but try right click on desktop - Properties - Setting tab - Advanced button - then you should see tabs one of which is screen or monitor. Look for Screen Refresh rate drop down list & try setting it a little higher.
For a laptop (although they will all be a bit different) I would expect refresh rate of 60-75 - it shouldn't show you any values that your screen can't handle.
You can't really upgrade laptops especially if you have bought it off a company like Dell.
It sounds like low FPS and I don't think you will be able to do much about it.
as said before .. you can't change the graphics card on a laptop
check the EA site for updates also. as you probably will find some.
games are really intended for desktops anyway..
