I want to hook my laptop to my tv?

If your tv has a VGA input then all you need is a vga cord. Your laptop dosn't have S-Video so your screwed there. If you have a older tv then you need to go to dell's website and get this http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/produ...
It's a laptop tv converter. You can search Ebay for a pc tv converter as well...
just take your manual (with the diagram of the tv plug) to the store (eg. best buy, circuit city, ect) and I'm sure the 'guy' working there can help you find it
Most likely you'll need a S-Video cable. :)
you will need to go to wal-mart and get an s-video cable and you tv will need to be a newer tv with s-video capability,if it isn't wal-mart sells a converter to make it compatable.
You need an S-Video cable to do that.
