I want to buy a labtop but i dnt know how to choose a good one?
Answers:
I would strongly recommend going for the HP as answered by others too. The best way to know if a laptop is good or not is to look at its specifications and hit me back with it. I am kind-of a techinician so I can tell you which one is the best.
Acer or HP.If you get a new one with Vista, make sure you have at least 1 Gig of ram, 1.5 if you can afford it.I've listed 2 links below.Tiger direct for buying and Cnet for reviews.
buying a laptop is not a difficult task.
u need to analyse as to what ur needs are and what are the brands that satisfy ur needs,
then to select among those , choose the one which offers u an adequate amount of ram , a light-weight one, one with a good graphics card.
You need to keep two things in mind before buying a laptop:
1.your budget
2.your requirements
If u want a laptop from 20-30 thousand HCL and LG are good options, but if you are comfortable with 50000-60000 you should surely go in for HP or LENOVO:both the brands provide you laptops equipped with latest technlogies.
I myself have a hp-2046 model:it has an inbuilt webcam,wi-fi,A remote for playing DVD's n many more wonderful features.

Nowadays, even branded companies have discontinued supplying driver CDs with the laptops and desktop PCs.
Any computer hardware, if non "plug and play", must accompany a driver software. Hence if supplied without a driver CD, is useless and must not be bought and accepted.
As per our evaluation and tests, only 2 brands can be trusted
1. Dell
2. HP (Remember, though Compaq accquired by HP, it is still a different brand). So only buy HP Notebook if you prefer
Otherwise buy Dell which is the un-disputed leader and also lets you choose custom configuration. Don't buy a laptop with a pre-installed operating operating system rather buy your own operating system CD.
Go for IBM or Hp they are having the best models in the market than any other brand.
