ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 graphics card
Answers:
You better go to the official site of your laptop manufacturer, or if you could say the exact model, maybe someone could
find your drivers.
You can find your drivers for WinXP here:
http://support.gateway.com/support/drive...
(you can find the video drivers at the end of the list)
If you are using another Operating System than Windows XP, you can try selecting it here:
http://support.gateway.com/support/drive...
Select as showed:
Step 1: Product Type - Notebook Computers
Step 2: Product Model - Gateway MX6447
Step 3: Operating System - *SELECT YOUR OS HERE
Step 4: File Type -*DON'T SELECT ANYTHING HERE IF YOU WANT ALL OF THE DRIVERS TO BE DISPLAYED
I hope this helps.

and for all other components, check their manufacture. If your not sure a diagnostic tool like Everest (google it) will detect and tell you what your parts are and link you directly to the manufacturers website.
Hi there,
Sorry to hear that you're have toubles.
Try this to get your sound back on you machine.
Assuming that you have XP (Home or Pro)
1 - Right click My Computer and goto Properties
2 - Click on Hardware Tab
3 - Click on Device Manager
In the list below, find your sound drivers and remove (uninstall) them.
Click APPLY then ON
Reboot your machine and let XP refind the drivers for your sound device(s).
You may need the XP CD, so have it handy when (before) you do this.
I hope that this helps and resolves your problem(s)
