My mouse pointer freezes on start up?

it freezes and i cant use any of the keys so i cant do anything on my laptop! am i screwed?! any ideas as to the problem and if it can b fixed?! if it cant where do i get a cheap laptop lol

Try updating the drivers for your mouse. Or rolling the driver back to the original driver settings.
