I'm looking for a basic laptop. I mostly want portability since my other laptop is huge and clunky. Can anyone tell me which of these laptops is the best and why? The A205-S4787 is the best of that group, It has the top CPU and is the latest model.

theres no way to choose without knowing all of the specs ... just processor isnt a good thing to choose a laptop by ..

I'd personally go with the HP or the Vaio. I've never had much luck with the Toshibas.
i cant really make a decision. i need to know hard drive sizes and the amount of memory. it all depends on the tasks that you will be doing. like if u use digital imaging software, gaming, or just the basics.
The really loud fan on the Sony will drive you and everyone around you nuts. How about Lenovo? They made the IBMs for a long time and still make laptops with the IBM logo on them - nearly indestructible, very thin and light, some really nice high resolution screens...
I haven't played with the Toshiba's lately.
