New HP ltop, dv2550. Pointer disappears, jumps, does not follow touchpad command half of the time. Been trying mouse settings to no avail. Anyone?

call hp customer support?
Go to support pages and download drivers for your mice and touch pad & go to device manager then select Mice and other pointing devices right click uninstall then restart the comp while prompted browse to new drivers you got down!
