What is the best type/brand of lap top for a college student to have?

I Prefer HP for work and Alienware for entertainment
i like dell cause they are cheap and for a short time you will get a massive up grade so chose quickly
no doubt a dell or gateway,period!!either one is great,you will have folks disagree with me but that is there right,I am talking about my choice,I am running both and have been for 5 years and not the first problem,plus you have great suppoet with both of them
A MAC Book, or a MAC Book Pro which is even better, they also have a discount for college students.

As most of the laptops have similar features like Wi-Fi, bluetooth etc. select the one that that has a good large display & powerful processor. As these two features cannot be upgraded, better choose wisely.
