Laptop won't boot up properly..?
Came back to the laptop the next day and it said that it hadn't been turned off properly, so it wanted to load up Windows Safe Normally, or something like that. The other options were "safe mode", "safe mode Networking" and one other "safe mode".
When I went with Windows Safe Normally, it got to the Windows splash screen and then rebooted itself.
The company I bought the laptop from said they don't have a recovery disk, but are sending a drivers disk. I'm wondering if this will be enough to get the laptop working again? Or is there a way to create a recovery disk to repair the Windows OS?.

Have you tried to shut the computer off completely?I mean take out the power cord,and battery and wait for about an hour and then put the battery and power cord and start.Are there any beeps while it boots?These beeps can tell you what the problem is.
You need a product recovery disk yes.
Have you tried to boot it normally again?
Alternatively, press the F8 key whilst the computer is booting and try the Last known good configuration option.
If you do need to re-install, you need either a recovery disk or a Windows disk and a drivers disk. I presume the Windows disk came with the computer?
if ur stuck, i would install ubuntu. which is an alternative to windows. linux has greater reliability.
