Put memory stick for computer in washing machine left it to dry for 6 hours but wont open on laptop help!!?

Try letting it dry out more like 3 days it takes a long time for evaporation in a closed plastic case. Gentle warming may help. Do not plug this in wet it could damage the circuits if you have not damaged them already.

What were you trying to do? Wash out all the viruses on it? Or did it smell bad?

Of course it wont but bet its clean! Hopefully what was on the memory stick was backup of something youve got on computer, or vice versa. If not, that is a valuable lesson to learn, always back up important data.
