Can my Dell Inspiron notebook run on 220V in the UK with just a plug adapter?

Answers:
It may depend on which one, but the last Dell I had did it's own power conversion in the power supply (that rectangular box), so you should be OK. I would go to the Dell site and check the specs first, just in case.
Check Dell's support website. I believe RadioShack also sells a voltage converter that's suitable for a laptop, also.
