yes, you are or about to get hosed. find a friend who is tech savy who can help you along, thats too much for what your labtop need.
Hell, thats almost half the price of a new one, yep, your getting ripped off.
to say you could've EASILY done it yourself.. yes sorry you were ripped off... sorry :(
sue the a-holes lol
Yes you were ripped off. You could have done everything they have done for free. All you needed to do was transfer the files that you wanted to keep on a external memory card or a usb drive then you could just use a windows OS cd then just do a full install. this will make your computer start like new.
no your not
its a lot in dollars. bout $420...so yes...perhaps u should have taken it to several places to see if u would have had to pay the same amount
C'mon, don't you know that the only dishonest businesses are car dealers. You see that all over YA
If you took their word for your puter being all jacked up and needing to be set back to zero (which by the way, only means that they don't know what they're doing and couldn't figure out what the real problem was) Why wouldn't you take their word on the labor rate?
WOW. thats one hell of a p!ss take.
£100 tops for a job where all they do is reload windows and copy some files to disk.
OK, they weren't the cheapest of people to deal with *BUT* unlike the rest of the answers here. if you could have done it yourself you would have.
The lesson to learn is to back up your files and then all you would have to do is either a windows 'restore' or a reload to factory settings.
