Question about my laptop?
Answers:
Actually, deleting, or de-crapifying, new computers is one of the things that I routinely do for clients and at work. Use the Add/Remove Programs first to ensure that you're uninstalling the programs themselves and not merely deleting shortcuts.
If there is no corresponding program in Add/Remove Programs then you can safely delete the programs but check their properties to determine where on your hard drive they are stored and delete the files themselves otherwise they will stay on your hard drive.
There is a freeware or shareware program called the Decrapifier that will assist you in what you're after. It's available at http://www.pcdecrapifier.com/
yes it's just a trial unless you buy the full version of AOL
no
it will not do anything to screw up your computer.
my laptop had a bunch of pre-installed programs and i deleted them off.
it has done nothing to my laptop but free-up more disk space.
Check control-panel , add/remove programs.
If those applications appear there, you will need to uninstall them, which should clean them off your hard drive.
If they don't you should be OK to delete the files, since they are probably the source files for installing the demos, and not installed programs.
Sure it's okay to remove it if you aren't using aol. If you decide to use it later, trust me you could get a cd from anywhere or download it again from the site. Good idea to get rid of all of them because usually it's more than one in your memory; they take up a good bit of space too.
No that will not mess up your computer the trail might be up anyways if you use aol or any of that stuff still then keep it but if you dont then thats fine
