sometimes i dont like to turn off my laptop so i just close it but when i come back it is sleep mode and i just have to push a button... but other times the display is off but the computer is on and it dosent turn back on. i hate to turn it off by holding the power button but im sure thre has to be a way to turn it on .. please help!!

On my Dell computer and Dell laptop, just moving the mouse doesn't work. You have to hit the power button (don't hold it down, just quickly press it)
