I sold my old laptop cuze it was a emachine ( of fun right) it was good but i think its getting to old. i want one with the duo core proccesors and vista, is there any laptops out there that are around 400, to 500 bucks with 1 gb of ram and dual core? dont care for the harddrive space

If you are buying a duo-core processor machine, with 1GB RAM, running Vista, your target price right now should be around $750--a bargain!
If you pay $400 to $500, it's hot and I wouldn't touch it.
ill recommend dell,dell have dell customer support also you can ask dell for recovery disks. I called dell and they ship the cd-roms to me with no cost
