I have an HP laptop, and i tried to save my photos on to my computer. I used ctrl s(save?) but can find them!?

Answers:
Where did you try to save them FROM? Your camera? If so, you need to either copy/cut(ctrl-C/ctrl-X) them from the folder on camera, and then paste(ctrl-V) them somewhere on your laptop. Or, you can just select them from your camera's folder, and *drag and drop* them anywhere on your laptop(use your desktop just to make it easier). Ctrl-S *is* a save function, but only within the context of programs, such as Microsoft Word, etc.

Hope this helps! :o)
click start and then search located to the bottom right and type it in
Do a search on your computer on what you've modified recently...in the search type in *.jpg;*.bmp;*.gif .and it should find the most recently modified picture formats that have been created or changed...it should most likely be one of the formats i've mentioned above. Just make sure to specify the date of creation or modification on the search options!

Good luck!
