Brand names don't really mean a lot overall. It's who makes what's inside that counts.

Yeah, they aren't bad. I'd choose an L-G over the other two you mention. Just on brand, mind you. Better look at the features you "need" and see who fits the bill best.

I think they are the same. Any of them make good quality laptops. Its up to you which one of them you like. Its personal preference. I am more familiar with acer so I go with them personally.
well, depends what you mean good company. LG make good trusty laptops, but good company is sumbjective. What you really need from a laptop and in what price? You can compare same laptops from different companies and you can go for the one that have the best price for same laptop, except you don't mind the money and for you support and quarantie are what really count. So all up to you and your needs.

guess LG is better than acer and HCL...anyway if you have the budget opt for an HP pavillion or dell(they used to let you customise-keep what you want lose the rest..dont know if the option is still there)but its all in the 50K + budget range..
Yes, definitely but the choice is yours as it was my choice.
The Brand DOES matter, which basically judges the quality and look of the laptop. For example Dell is more of a business-corporate style laptop more suited to the workplace. To tell you the truth, LG is more for TV's, monitors and entertainment.
If you wan't a laptop you'd be looking at the giants like Dell, IBM - Levono, Acer, Alienware, Fujitsu would be amongst the best.

They are all good brands, acer are the best value from what i've seen, but they build there laptops alot quicker and with less care, so they can withstand less.
Example : Making your own laptop would be better than ay brand.
Thats just a simple statement, its how they make the laptop that counts, and whats put into them.
All the brand names do is put together parts, the parts themselves are branded by other companies.
LG are well established, have a good reputation, and from what i know of the products they sell.. are good value and good products.
well dude! i ve already said.dont get confused...if u would like to compare any other product vs Acer then answer will always be Acer.
Acer is well established in selling their prdcts as Laptops . So close ur eyes and put ur finger on Acer Laptop 14 inch.
No doubt LG prdcts are too gud but if v talked about Laptops then ACER will be the best as ma experience says.
