Would an "intel celeron M" proceser, be good for gaming, like world of warcraft?

it has an 80 gig hard drive, and 512 mb,and windows vista home basic

Answers:
Not really you need a dual core or core 2 duo processor, at least 1GB RAM and Windows Vista Home Premium or XP. Celeron M processors are old.
Not really
512mb is NOT enough RAM for WoW. trust me. friend laggs on a 512 and 256. aim to get a 1Gig Ram card. their only about 130 bucks around here, i think. Just as long as its around that Ram range, has a nice graphics card, and about 2.6 MHz or higher, you should be set mate.
let me tell you man, I got 1 gb ram, vista home premium and I have like 64mb integrated video with 128 mb max memory for video and I can play WoW but I don't like the look, it's laggy, its not so much your CPU but more have to do with your graphics performance, I think
it would be all right for gaming but if you want your pc just for gaming i recommend at least 1 gb ram
Bad news
Celeron are scaled down chips for cost , less cache memory
For office work they may be faster ( perhaps) as they shunt the small amount of data from the cache faster.
But for music and games - bad bad news
Many people say an older Pentium 3 is preferable than a Celeron M for general use.
Stay away from that Celeron M for gaming
It is not an easily upgradeable thing either
On top of that Vista lol
no this wouldnt be any good for gaming, that "512 MB" is called RAM, which helps your computer go faster

laptops are not meant for gaming like WoW, and should not really be used for such purposes...

to be really good with WoW, a computer should probably have 1GB of RAM at least, and an intel celeron M processor is much too slow to handle WoW properly, a Celeron M might be 1.5 GHZ (which is normal for a laptop because anything much higher would drain your battery too quickly) but WoW players should have a processing speed of at least 2 GHZ

if you are looking for a computer to play video games on, get a DESKTOP, if you are looking for a computer you will take with you to do things like word processing etc, get a laptop

my personal laptop has the specifications you mentioned, and i know for sure that it would not handle WoW very well, it struggles to handle games that large, this includes games like Rome Total War etc. a computer like you mentioned would be able to play things like WC3 or most other blizzard games but nothing so taxing as WoW
no u need a least a p4 or anything dual dore and
1GB RAM +
