Affordable laptop repair?

I think the "b" on my laptop's key board is starting to go out. Is there any way to have it fixed for less less than say $50?

Answers:
Check eBay for parts for your particular laptop. Ive seen KB's for 20 bucks for my Inspiron. Dell was even nice enough to label all the screws I need to remove from the bottom of the laptop to remove the KB with an arrow and a letter "K". Check around online to find step by steps on how to remove your KB and replace it with a different one. Below is a link to some keyboards to give you an idea of how much they cost.
My friend, the keys on a laptop, are some of the hardest things to fix yourself. Not only are they hard to get off, they are hard to get back on. If a key is going out, the rubber molding underneath is probably the culprit. Only they don't make indvidual ones for laptops. They make one big one, that is connected to ALL the keys. To fix that button, you would have to replace the entire rubber molding. Which means taking off every key.

The parts would be cheap, but it is a long process. My guess is you would pay right around $50, but NOT less, to get that issue fixed in a shop.
