How can change the wallpaper on a macbook?

i just got a macbook and first time user, i've always use windows, can anyone help me step by step

It's under system preferences, did you read the manual?
Go into the Finder, and select System Preferences. Then select, appearance and themes.
Then it will show you a spot for the wallpaper/desktop.
And then you can either find a file from your pictures, or just use one of the ones that come with it!
Go to system preferences, (the box icon that looks like a light switch with an apple on it.) Then theres a row at the top that says "personal", then go to Desktop and screensaver. Choose the one you want!
Click on the blue apple next to finder. Click on System prefences. then click desktop and screensaver. then chose one design that you like on the left colum..
Apple menu > System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver > Desktop, choose a Desktop pic from one of the folders.
You can also use one of your own photos from iPhoto. Choose the photo and in the Share menu > Desktop.
