How do I get my Memory Stick Pro Duo into my laptop to transfer information?

I have an adapter that came with it but it doesnt fit into any of the slots on the laptop.Is there a special adapter I need to use it with a computer?

You will need an external USB memory stick reader/writer. Just Yahoo for one and make sure it accepts MS Pro Duo. It shouldn't cost over $10. I would give you link to on, but its best that you look for one depending on what color or style you want. Good luck!
