Before I answer your question, I suggest that you make sure that all your data is backed up and test the backup to ensure that it worked. When backing up, be sure to consider the following:

- E-Mail
- Favourites
- Documents & Photos
- Any settings that you might need

The best thing to do is get an entire backup of your hard drive to another drive. As this requires another hard drive and a program like Ghost, it may be worth paying a technician the $100 to do the whole job of backing up your data and running the system restore.

Now, to run the system restore disk(s), it should just be a matter of inserting the CD (or DVD) into your CD/DVD drive and rebooting your computer. You may find that you'll need to hit a function key (ie, F12) to get to choose your CD/DVD as the boot device.

After that, you should just be able to follow the menus and prompts.

If all else fails, you should be able to contact Toshiba.

Good luck!
When you start your computer, you just insert your recovery disk and the system will read it and ask you if you want to recovery your disk. It is easy enough.
