My laptop is going to crash. How should I backup?
Answers:
it is worth losing stuff,to fix it. do that and then shut it off and take it to a computer store.
Whatever you do you got to unplug it first and then stand back. If you need another one Best Buy has a sale on them comps.
If it was me, I'd buy an external hard drive, or you could use the option to back up the comp...
But I think an external hardrive would be easier lol :p
You can make a ghost image of your harddrive. Type it up in google and plenty of help will come up. There are softwares about which can do this all for you and make it easy to restore everything to the way it was when you backed it up. Saves you from having to reinstall all your software.
I would recommend using one of the many available external hard drives. They come in a variety of sizes and connect to the USB port. If you use the Western Digital models they also come with backup soft ware that allows you to back up the entire hard drive in just a few mouse clicks. Once you have they drive backed up if they wipe your files you can just move them back into the new folders on your laptop. If you have a little bit of time left wait a week or two and check the papers; these go on sale very often. Some common brands are Seagate, Maxxtor, and Western Digital.
if your interested, i fix laptops, and i could fix it, because its not a crashing issue. I could fix it for you and not loose any data, guaranteed. From what you say, its more of an LCD inverter problem, or backlight issue.
message me if your interested.
