you mean by reformating your laptop? You need to get the os disk in order to reformat so cant help you there pal.

go to run.type in "regedit"
here if you delete anything that consist of system 32...say goodbye to your laptop or dekstop if had one
then go through every file that you know you downloaded or installed programs and delete them
anything deleted here will delete from your mainframe opening diskspace in which you should doctor* on before restarting your computer
*BY DOCTOR I MEAN SYSTEM CHECK AND DILATE THE CORRUPTED DISK SPACE TO BE USABLE AGAIN
