okay i'm currently in the process of buying a new laptop, and i found a computer i really liked but its processor is AMD Sempron. I've always had Pentium and i just wanted to know which one was better. And also, if you could give me the pro's and con's of each that would be so helpful!

Sempron is the budget CPU of AMD, it most compares to the Intel Celeron which is much better in terms of battery life and heat dissipation. There is not much of a price difference between the Sempron and the AMD Turion X 2 which is far superior. I would recommend not purchasing a new LT with a Sempron CPU.
