Thinking about buying a laptop?
Answers:
Toshiba and Vaio is your best bet, but they're pricey. Acer is cheap and has great support.
Try aiming for a dual core Intel or AMD. With 1GB of Ram
Also try to get at least 120GB of hard disk space.
Don't buy a Toshiba Satellite. HP has good laptops.
Gaming-Go with Alienware or the Dell XPS series
Normal Functions-Dell Inspiron
Best Media Capabilities-Sony Vaio
Don't go with HP!!
get a toshiba and that has at least one gig ram
My husband and I both have Sony Vaio's and he is in Iraq, both of ours holding up just fine, especially his being over there. Heard bad things about Gateway and Dell. I've not had a problem with the Vaio's.
Don't buy a Dell. My fiance bought one & a year later, the case developed cracks & not from misuse of any kind. He called Dell & they don't want to fix it. After buying four dell computers, he won't buy anymore.
Get a Mac. They last long and have good storage and memory.
Macbook Pro default
2.2ghz
2gb of ram
120gb hard drive
Nivida 8600 128mb
Maybe expensive but its worth every penny
I have a dell inspiron laptop that i bought in december 2005 and i have not had any problems with it.
