Whats the diffrence between a 6-cell and a 12-cell battery?

I am thinking about a laptop and I was wondering which was best and how long each lasts for. Thanks!

the number of cells ... its not necessarily an indicator of battery life ... the mah or milliamp hour rating is what to look at ... but if ur talking about the same laptop then most likely the 12 is going to have alot better life ..
more lithium ion cells in the 12 cell as compared to the 6 which give your computer a longer battery life.
a 12 cell gives you twice amount of power a 6 cell.
The 12 cell should last twice as long on a charge. 3hrs to 6 hrs average. The life will be about the same.
