I have just recently purchased the Vostro 1000 from Dell.com under the small business dept. this laptop has and AMD sempron 3500+, 60GB of Harddrive, ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 graphic card, 512mb of RAM and Windows XP Home Sp2. Now my friend has an inspiron 1501 this was under the HOME AND HOME OFFICE. This has and AMD Sempron 3500+ processor, 60GB of harddrive, ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 graphic card, 1GB of RAM, and WIndows Vista Home Basic. I have tried out my friends and it does indeed play Counter Strike Source VERY well. Will my Vostro 1000 work as well as the 1501 or will it be different because it has less RAM and because it is under the Small Business Dept? Or shud it play the games like his?
Please answer this...or I will ship it back...because I am having a lot of problems with Dell.not speaking english and with the backorders that they are making.

Dont ship it back - just upgrade your RAM to 2Gb
It uses PC2-4200 533 Mhz SODIMMs - should only cost about $100 to $140 for the two 1Gb cards.
