If you are talking about enabling a bluethooth adaptor, than usually these adators are USB type. Just insert it into a USB port of the laptop and laptop should automatically read it and enable it. If your laptop reads it you will find the bluetooth icon in your notification area where all the programmes are loaded. Otherwise: 1. If your bluethooth adaptor has come with a CD, just insert the CD and load the program for your bluetooth adaptor or go to Start > Setting > Control Panel and you will find the bluetooth icon there. Right click on the icon, cick open and in the window, click options and check the box with turn discovery on. I hope it would work. you may also discover it by using help feature of your laptop. Good luck.
well, seeing as how you are wanting to enable bluetooth on your laptop, that MUST mean that you have a bluetooth chip built into your laptop, or some type of external bluetooth device.
seeing as how it should be built in, there should already be a button the the laptop that shows some type of bluetooth symbol.
if not, go to the start menu and all programs, should be something in there.
