i dont have my own connection so i use one of my nabers. ( ive checked and its not ellegal.) what i need is a way to boost my laptops signal. i thought about getting a antenna but my wireless card dosnt have a antenna port. ive also thought about getting a cantenna on ebay ( cause i dont have much money) but the cantena requiers a antenna port. do i have to buy a new wifi card or are ther any other possibilitys? pleas help

i have this same problem. i finally came to a conclusion just recently. it would be best (for cost and productivity) to go to someplace like walmart and get a usb wifi adapter.it is a wifi card that connects to the usb port on ur comp. they r relatively cheap! you may also want to get a usb extension cord. this is what i have now and it works great. the neighbors signal went from poor to very good!! >>>>>just 4 fun!!
