Can I connect my desktop hard drive with my laptop ?

I would like to know if there is a USB device that I can buy / make so that I can connect my desktop hard drive (which I have removed from my desktop) to my laptop ?

The answer is yes, You can use a Icy Box to put your 3.5" hard drive in. It has usb or some come with firewire and most need power supples which they come with.
