I'm headed off to college, so I'm pretty much only going to use it for school. Entertainment wise, I just want it for music. So what would be the better buy? A Sony Vaio is also an option.

the macbook only comes in a 13in size the macbookpro comes in 15in and 17in sizes. most of the other features vary depending on how much you want to spend. if it was me i would get a macbookpro. 13in just inst big enough for me
