How can I upload songs from my iPod to my new laptop?

You actually can put songs from your ipod onto the new laptop. You need to have itunes on the new PC then use the USB cord and the purchased songs will go from the ipod to your new computer. For the non-iTunes bought songs you will have to use the CD's or simply buy the blank CDs putting songs on it then putting that CD into the laptop and importing.

you cant take media from your ipod and put it on a computer. it has to go from computer to computer or computer to ipod.
copy your songs to a data disk and then put the disk to your lap top and rip it to itunes
usually if you didn't purchase the songs from itunes you would need to download a separate program in order to rip songs from your ipod, in my case i used a free program called yami pod
