I bought a Toshiba A200 in Australia. Will I be able to connect to the internet using its wireless in Italy?

I'm going to live in Italy. will there be any other problems?

Not a problem,wireless connection using universal standard.
Of course you can. 802.11b/g is universal standard.
No problem about the standard; the only issue is finding a hot-spot for wi-fi connection may not be very easy.
