By any chance is there some button that makes your labtop different? [sounds ike a weird questions but its not

i was just using my labtop and deleting some things and then i had to restart and then when i logged on the whole set up of my windows was different.
it just looks different.
like it looks wider and like when i scroll down and up on a page its not the same as before.

sounds dumb but is there like a button i might have pressed?

because the way my computer is now, it really annoys me

Answers:
Possibly there is a combination keystroke on your keyboard that changes the orientation of your display from landscape to portrait. However, without knowing what kind of notebook you have I wouldn't know how to tell you to correct that.

It's equally possible that you reset the resolution of your display. If in XP, right click on the desktop, select Properties, then the Settings tab and change the display resolution slider.

Check your notebook manual or go to their website.
By chance do you remove the graphics driver?
