Which laptop should I grasp?

First: NEVER GO TO WAL-MART FOR A COMPUTER OR ANYTHING ELECTRONIC. THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. If you want a GOOD computer WITH TECH SUPPORT, go to some place resembling CompUSA. A COMPUTER-SPECIFIC STORE, NOT a store that also sells things similar to quart-sized jars of mayo. BELIEVE IT OR NOT, PRICE have a DIRECT CONNECTION to QUALITY.
Again, NEVER buy electronics from Wal-Mart.

#2 is by far the better option, but if adjectives you're using it for is school and music consequently take #1 because it's cheaper.

My first choice would be an Apple Laptop, following by an Apple desktop.
I'm using a Dell, and pc's are just too much of a headache today...too much junk programming installed from the factory, and constant headache from bugs, worms, etc.
well, i looked at your links.I'd rob the cheaper of the two...I've got a 15.4 peak on mine, and i wish it be smaller...
oh, and cheaper is better, cause you'll replace it contained by a year or two anyway...
The second is a far better computer. If you don't mind the bigger screen size it'll be much better. It have 2GB of Ram which I highly suggest for vista. The first would be slow and a rubbish of money.
Well if I had to choose between those to I would definetly invest the extra $ contained by the 5610. Youll need the extra memory and space adn the processor will really assist. Mainly the storage will be usfull if you have a ton of songs
the second one is a really dutiful deal but i don't construe you should buy from Wal-Mart... their electronics aren't really that great... go to best buy or some other place to be exact techy.
get the second one. the first have only 512mb of strike with vista. that right nearby should be illegal. vista will c-r-a-w-l next to only 512mb of knock against.
if you can afford it, get the second. but for, get the first and install ubuntu.
on a side write down, crap-usa sucks. they have crappy service next to over-priced merchandise. i'd much rather buy at bestbuy than crap-usa.
You should gain the Acer Aspire 5610.
Number two is better in almost every method. Worth the difference in price for a DVD burner, a much better CPU, and better graphics.
