Please help me i need to know how to make the battery status on my pc show at the bottom of my desktop screen?

my pc won't show me my battery status for some reason and i never can tell when it's going dead anymore please tell me how i can make it show again please and thanxs

Click START

select CONTROL PANEL

select POWER OPTIONS in classic view

click the ADVANCED tab at the top.

Make sure there is a checkmark for "Always show battery icon in taskbar"

get yahoo widgets. I really like them.
go to the control panel and click on power options then go to advanced and check always show icon on the taskbar
Right click on the task bar then go to the notification area and select power.
right clickthe start button, then click properties, then click on the Notification Area tab, then check the power, option. this is on windows vista but Windows xp should be the same
