What notebook computer would u recommend?

Answers:
HP
macbook
what will you be using it for?
Do you prefer Mac or Microsoft?
my girlfriend has an apple and i must say i didn't like apple very much until the newer notebooks came out.
Tons of cool features and really thin yet durable
Acer
five words, A-P-P-L-E
I've liked the last 3 ThinkPads that I've used. Rugged. Reliable. Good battery life.
Sony vaio, with Microsoft windows vista and a 2GB RAM! If you opt for Microsoft that is.
Mac Book. They have the Intel processor which means you can run Windows programs AND Mac programs. Since the same company that makes the hardware ALSO makes the system software everything works better together. Fewer conflicts. There are so few Macs out there that the freaks who write viruses for computers don't want to bother writing them for the Mac.
It all depends on what you are looking to do with the laptop. If you just need something to surf the internet, I highly recommend an outlet Dell laptop. They are returned/refurbished, etc models. They are as good as brand new and have the same warranty but significantly less money. You can find these here: http://www.dell.com/content/products/cat...

If you are looking for a high-end machine for graphic design and things of that nature, nothing compares to a macbook.

If you are into heavy-duty online gaming, I hear alienware machines are the absolute best.
If you're a mac person, go for a mac, im not sure which one to go for. if you want a PC notebook, HP Pavillion dv6500t with intel core 2 duo processor preferably 1.80 Ghz. and 2 GB of ram. If you compare the same deal with dell, toshiba, IBM, Sony or any other brand HP will give you more bang for the buck.I own the HP notebook and its amazing! Looks nice and sleek and nice design. If you just want a simple notebook, then Compaq Presario...again, gives you more bang for the buck compared to other lower end notebooks out there. Hope this helps. You can customize your notebook on the website below and see what it comes out to with tax. Both HP and Compaq are available on that website.g'luck!
Personally I like hp's because of their screen quality and they have nice notebooks overall, but the macbook is good if you're a student and need something small and portable. They have a really small notebook that you could use for school.
Toshiba (windows) get a vista. its probably the best to use all-around. or dell XPS if ur that rich =D
Apple MacBook
I'm getting one soon...but wait until october cuz a new operating system is comming out then (leapord)
Toshiba satellite windows xp with a duo centrino it makes everything load fast. Good luck and dont get worried of buying the best one just ask something for help at the store and tell them what kind of work you will be making on the computer. Sometimes the most expensive dont meant anything. Dont get fooled into buying a very expensive one just because of the cool apearence and programs. Buy a computer that goes fast, has a ton of memory and good battery life.
the dell is the best you buy out of any computer there the best in the world
well it depends for what you want to use it. i would sugest an hp, great computers and they dont cost a million dollars.
but i think dell has a higher quality than others.

Apple sucks
If you want a safe, secure notebook that's easy to use, get a Macbook or Macbook pro - stay away from any PCs. If you by a PC all you'll get is a headache and viruses.
Macbook
2gb of ram!
