Did you get a cd from the shop you bought this pc?In this cd you will find user guide & drivers to install.Even i have hp & i have the cd which was included in the package.I have gone through the hp site but there was no such model (2246AP) in the compaq presario notebook pc series so check your model no again.I could not find address of hp service centre in lucknow but i could find the office address in lucknow which is given in the following:

all u had to do was to go to www.google co in and write hp india. it would have saved u five points and u would have got info instantly
type hp.com/support you get all details chat online gives you full online asistance if the help is coming from lucknow or from newyork it makes no difference because in both case no expese no delay and its just the same you have no support in lucknow so get online help and tell your problem.
